Use case
Improve WooCommerce product SEO with AI
Clean up product names, URL slugs, short descriptions and image alt texts for search engines, for many WooCommerce products at once, after your approval.
What the AI does
- Finds unclear product names, long or messy slugs, missing short descriptions and images without alt text
- Suggests improvements from your product data, in your store's language
- Saves the ones you approve, all at once or a selection, in batches
Built on the SEO optimization skill, which comes with MCPify's Pro and Agency plans. It is available as a prompt in your AI client, or ask for it by name. On other plans, ask the AI for the task directly.
How it works
- Create a connection with the Catalog editor preset.
- Ask your AI client to run the SEO optimization skill, optionally for one category.
- Review what the AI proposes. It shows the changes before it saves anything, and saves only what you approve.
- SEO titles and meta descriptions of SEO plugins such as Yoast or Rank Math are not changed: they live outside WooCommerce's product data.
Try these prompts
- “Run the SEO optimization skill for the category “Hoodies”.”
- “Which product slugs are longer than five words? Suggest shorter ones.”
- “Write short descriptions for all products that have none and show me the list first.”
Recommended settings
- Preset: Catalog editor
- Limits: product content and media on, price changes off
- Largest batch: 20 to 50 items
You can change permissions and limits per connection at any time; they apply to the next request.
