Terms of service
Last updated 2026-11-02
1. Provider and scope
MCPify for WooCommerce ("MCPify") is provided by MCPify ("we"). These terms apply to merchants who connect a WooCommerce store to MCPify with the MCPify plugin ("you"). MCPify is offered to businesses only, not to consumers. The plugin itself is free software under the GPL; these terms cover the MCPify service it connects to.
2. The service
MCPify lets AI clients chosen by you access your WooCommerce store through the Model Context Protocol, within the permissions you set per connection, and records an audit log. MCPify does not provide an AI model or chat. WooCommerce and WordPress are products of their respective owners; MCPify is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
3. Your responsibility for AI clients
You decide which AI clients you connect and which permissions they get. AI output can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing changes before you approve them and for the actions taken with the access you granted. We recommend starting with read-only access and keeping backups of your store. You are responsible for having a legal basis for any personal data in your store that you let an AI client process.
4. Plans and payment
MCPify offers a free plan and paid plans (Starter, Pro and Agency), billed monthly or yearly at the prices on our pricing page. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial; you are only charged if you do not cancel before it ends. Plans renew automatically until you cancel them in the MCPify dashboard; cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase.
You get a full refund of a subscription's first payment when you ask within 14 days of it; details are in our refund policy.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use MCPify to break the law or the terms of your AI provider, to overload or attack the service or other stores, to connect a store you are not authorised to manage, or to circumvent the permission checks.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may improve and change features; we will not remove core functionality of a paid plan during a billing period without notice.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract, and in total to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the damage occurred. We are not liable for actions taken by AI clients within the permissions you granted, or for loss of data you could have avoided with reasonable backups.
8. Term and termination
The contract runs as long as your store is connected. You can end it at any time by disconnecting the store or deactivating the plugin. We may end it with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious breaches of these terms.
9. Data protection
See our privacy policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, our data processing agreement applies and is part of these terms.
10. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction for merchants is our registered seat, as far as legally permitted. Contact: Legal@getmcpify.app.
