Write alt text for WooCommerce product images with AI
Find product images without alt text and let your AI client write short, descriptive alt text for them, for better accessibility and image search.
What the AI does
- Lists product images whose alt text is missing, a file name or too generic
- Writes short alt text from the product and the image's context
- Saves it to the media library after you approve
Built on the Alt text skill, which comes with MCPify's Pro and Agency plans. It is available as a prompt in your AI client, or ask for it by name. On other plans, ask the AI for the task directly.
How it works
- Create a connection with the Catalog editor preset; the media limit must stay on.
- Ask your AI client to run the Alt text skill, for the whole catalog or one category.
- Review what the AI proposes. It shows the changes before it saves anything, and saves only what you approve.
- Every request, allowed or blocked, appears in MCPify's audit log.
